Byron Homeschoolers are a diverse group of families committed to creating a vibrant, fun and supportive homeschooling community in the Byron region and beyond.
Through weekly meet ups, networking opportunities, skill- sharing / mentoring opportunities and other events we aim to provide an empowering context for families choosing to homeschool.
We encourage you to find out more by exploring this site which has a FAQ about homeschooling and a FAQ about our group, Byron homeschoolers.
Whether you are a seasoned homeschooler or just curious about what homeschooling is and whether it might work for your family, we invite you to contact us about our group and upcoming events.

Byron, Australia
Not from around here?
The Byron shire is in Australia's northern coastal region of New South Wales (NSW). Byron shire spans about 30,000 people over a number of towns including Byron Bay, Mullumbimby, Ocean Shores and Brunswick Heads. Participants in our group come from these towns, their surroundings and from the broader Northern Rivers region.
The beautiful beaches and interesting towns make this area one of Australia's top tourist destinations. But in addition the area has become well known as place of alternative lifestyle, healing and conscious living.
If you are a homeschooler thinking of a move, we would love to hear from you!
